The Yahoo! Curse Lifted

A couple of days ago I was cursing Yahoo! (actually myself) for losing my password. What happened was, I recently changed my password for some odd feeling that I'm going to lost or forget my old password due to it's length and complexity. So I changed it. To my horror, I am not able to login with the new password, WTF!!!*&^%$ Could I be hacked? Or am i just plain stupid to have mistyped the password I intend to change with?

Trying to retrieve my password through the online password retrieval utility is another horror. I cannot remember the postal code I used for security verification, I mean, I must be getting old! Hours of frustration I cannot get the combination right nor whatever the new password is.

So I let it pass.

A couple of days later packed with fresh patience and coffee I started hunting for a tech support phone number. One Google search and voila I have got numbers. I immediately called the first one was surprised that it was Yahoo! US Billing, fortunately enough the guy accommodated my call and transferred me to a fellow agent responsible for accounts. After a couple of minutes the guy sent me a new password to my alternate email address and I was dancing!

To those wondering what those phone numbers are, here they are:

Yahoo! US contact information is:
